9 Things About This Weekend.

1. The boys (Chuckie & Aaron) spent all of last week in California at scout camp. They were gone from Saturday to Saturday. The girls and I had a pretty quiet week but we kept ourselves entertained. They had a great time at camp and Aaron earned 6 merit badges. He's now ready for his eagle project.

2. Friday, Alexa was able to be a part of the early childhood graduation. She went to their class as a peer for a few months this spring so they asked her to be a part of their last day. They did a cute little play and Alexa got to do a little solo....
3. On Friday night the girls and I went with Tracy and her kids to BJs for dinner. We walked in and there was Jenna & Daryl with Suzie & Ryan. BJs, it's a yummy place and obviously where all the cool people eat!

4. Friday night after I got home, I finished up the last load of laundry. There was nothing dirty in the house and all the clean clothes were all put away. That all changed the next day when the boys got home. 8 days worth of dirty camp clothes from them. So much for laundry being done.

5. When we went to meet the boys at the church yesterday we had to wait for the last truck load to get there for a few minutes. It was so hot and most of us got back in our cars for some relief. I looked up at the temp after I got in the car and realized why we were so hot....

6. Last night was a ward swim party the Brinks house. I forgot my camera but took some pictures with Kara's. Maybe she will post some of them on her blog. I ended up in the pool fully dressed. Jenna and Tracy made me jump in. It was a fun and successful party!

7. Before the party, I went to the temple for a sealing. It was very sweet.

8. Today, we were released from the primary presidency. It was bitter sweet. As it should be. Sad to see the change but change always brings good. No doubt, it's the Lord's church.

9. One of the teachers did a sharing time on the pioneers today. She had the bishopric in there and they had to walk in cold icy water while the kids sang pioneer children. It was pretty funny to watch them and I think Jeff's face in the first picture tells just how cold it is....
